"Miastoprojekt" pokazuje topniejące miasta, "modernistyczną" architekturę z rozpływającego się cukru. Wbrew utopijnym roszczeniom do trwałości i wieczności, w zainscenizowane miasta wpisany jest obraz destrukcji i rozpadu. Urbanistyczny racjonalizm utyka w błocie i kałużach, a w rozsypującej się geometrii białych kostek zawodzi nawet witruwiańska zasada trwałości. Makiety wyimaginowanych miast niemal na naszych oczach przekształcają się w makiety ruin, porzucone pozostałości nigdy niezrealizowanych projektów.
"The Cityproject" features cities melting down, "modernist "architecture of thawing sugar. Against the utopian pretence to being durable and eternal, these staged cities bring the image of destruction and falling apart. The rationalism of urban planning stumbles in mud and paddles, while the dilapidating geometry of white cubes makes even the Vitruvian principle of durability fail. The models of imagined cities are metamorphosing into the abandoned ruins of never-realised projects before our eyes.
