W filmie Opóźnienie cały ekran wypełnia nieruchomy kadr podziemnego przejścia dworcowego. W mrocznym wnętrzu, do którego sączy się światło prześwitujące przez szpary drewnianych belek, jedynym ruchomym elementem jest leniwie bujająca się lampa. Senny niemal rytm fillmu, zwłaszcza zaś odsyłające do innego czasu napięcie między ruchem a bezruchem, wywołuje zjawisko przemieszczenia, w którym znaczenia nabiera nie oglądane widowisko, ale przestrzeń oglądającego je widza, "archetypiczna przestrzeń nie-miejsca".
In the video Delay the whole screen is taken over by a still shot of the underground passage of a train station. In the dark interior with the light seeping through the chinks in the wooden slats, the only moving element is a lazily swinging lamp. The almost dream-like rhythm of the film, and especially the tension between motion and stillness referring to a different time, produces a phenomenon of displacement where the weight of importance falls not on the watched spectacle but on the space of the viewer watching it, 'the archetype of non-place'.
